Jeff Misner

Field Labor Representative
I started as a Volunteer FF with Anderson Fire Dept in 1990 and I was a Volunteer FF for Shingletown Fire Dept for 9 years when we moved to Shingletown in 1994.  I became an EMT in 1991 and got hired as a full time EMT in 1992 with North Valley Ambulance in Redding, CA. AMR purchased North Valley Ambulance in 1994. I attended NCTI in Sacramento and became a Paramedic in 1996 and I worked as a full time paramedic for 10 years. In 1996 the workers in Redding joined SEIU Local 250 and were added into the Core Contract. I became the chief shop steward and sat on the bargaining team for Shasta County. I left AMR in 2006 and became a full time labor representative for the Union. I have been married to my wife Kim for 27 years and I have two adult children. Kim and I love to travel the United States by car and have gone coast to coast two times in a 2006 Mini Cooper. We also own a 1962 Austin Mini Countryman and enjoy going to car shows on the West Coast.
