Oakland- The EMS workers at Rural/Metro of Northern California voted overwhelmingly by a margin of 2-to-1 to join their brothers and sisters within AFSCME Local 4911, United EMS Workers, who are working at Rural/Metro's 911 operation in Santa Clara County. Over the last few months, they've stood strong because they know they deserve dignity and respect for the important work that they do.
